Women’s Health Week 2026

Women’s Health Week is Australia’s largest week dedicated to women’s health and wellbeing.

This year’s theme, Do It Anyway, encourages women to take small, realistic steps towards better health, even when life feels busy.

This year’s theme recognises that life is often busy and many women put their own health last. Women’s Health Week encourages women to take small, achievable actions for their wellbeing, even when it feels difficult to prioritise themselves.

Many women juggle work, family and everyday responsibilities. Women’s Health Week is a reminder to make time for yourself and prioritise the things that support your health and wellbeing.

Throughout the week, the campaign focuses on five key areas of wellbeing: Fuel, Move, Rest, Breathe and Connect. Whether it’s nourishing your body, being active, getting quality sleep, supporting your mental wellbeing or connecting with others, every small action can make a difference.

The message is simple: your health matters. Start where you are, take one small step and Do It Anyway.

Simple Ways to Support Your Health

This Women’s Health Week, consider taking one small step towards better wellbeing.

  • Trying a new activity you enjoy
  • Preparing a nutritious meal
  • Taking a walk outdoors
  • Prioritising sleep and recovery
  • Scheduling a health check-up
  • Connecting with a friend or family member
  • Taking time to relax and recharge

Remember, it doesn’t have to be perfect.

Do It Anyway.

Small Steps, Lasting Benefits

Movement plays an important role in supporting both physical and mental wellbeing.

The good news is that movement doesn’t need to be intense or time-consuming to make a difference. Whether it’s trying something new, spending time outdoors, being active with friends or family, or simply moving more throughout your day, finding ways to move that you enjoy can help support your physical and mental wellbeing.

The goal isn’t to do more. It’s to move in a way that works for you and supports your health and happiness.

Make Time For you

Women’s Health Week, running from 7 to 11 September 2026, is a reminder that your health matters.

Prioritising your wellbeing can help you maintain your health, build resilience and continue doing the things that matter most to you.

Whether you choose to fuel your body, move your way, prioritise rest, take a moment to breathe or connect with others, every small action matters.

This week, make yourself a priority.

Your health. Your happiness. Your way.
