Our Story

St Ives Sports Centre is located in St Ives High School. Our newly built facility is a project funded by Ku-ring-gai Council, the NSW Government and Schools Infrastructure NSW and consists of four, multi-purpose, indoor sports courts, a meeting room and a café.

Stage one of St Ives Sports Centre was delivered in early 2021 by the NSW Department of Education and included two multi-use courts, a school canteen, two modern classrooms, a fitness lab and a seminar room.

Ku-ring-gai Council led stage two of the sports centre, which was funded by Council together with a $3.5 million NSW Government grant and a NSW Treasury funded low interest loan. School Infrastructure NSW delivered the project on behalf of Council to deliver:

• A two-storey sports complex including two additional sports courts, a multi-purpose room, amenities and a café
• Underground basement car parking with stairs and lift access
• Landscaping works, accessible pedestrian entry and new vehicle access from Horace Street.

We offer casual sports programs and court hire, open seven days a week. While day use of the centre is managed by St Ives High School during school hours, our community can feel free to pay us a visit outside of these hours!
